I met Damian at the ‘ Melbourne Arts Festival’. I noticed an amazing piece of slate which I knew would make the perfect head stone for my fathers grave. It was perfect as it had a round hole at the top, my father was a very good golfer (hole in one).

I immediately knew how I wanted the script to be ( sideways and longways!) Damian got me straight away and it was done.

Everyone loves it and it stands so very proud in the cemetery. I feel blessed to have met Damian, and more than pleased with his work from start to finish.

The whole process was one of the few positive experiences following his death. You listened so patiently, and created exactly what I had envisaged, with such kindness.
